Periodicals Section
- Ordering and maintaining of both Indian and Foreign journals
- Ordering current subscription
- Newspaper and popular magazines
Catalogue Section
- The bibliographic details like Title, edition, year of publication, subjects, keyword, vendor, price, etc., are feeded which can be retrieved later through Web-OPAC service.
Classification Section
- Central Library uses Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) scheme for classifying books according to the subjects.
Thesis/Dissertation Section
- All hard/soft copies of PhD and M.Phil thesis, disseration of the university are maintained.
- Soft copies abstracts are hosted in the DSPACE locally.
General Stack Section
- The library has an excellent reference collections consisting of various Encyclopedias, Dictionaries, Year Books, Al manacs, Atlases, Biographics, etc.

Circulation Section
- Circulation counter is fully automated with smart issue/return and reservation of books on priority facility is available.
Book Bank Section
- This section is completely dedicated to SC/ST students where books are issued on Semester basis.
